KIDS CRAFT SUNDAYS 2011
One Sunday a month we hold a special craft session with our kids. Following the first hymn, our kids will go to Fellowship Hall with teacher Bree McConnell to work on a special craft project designed to help them reach out to others in our community. Here are the dates and themes:
Sunday, November 20th - “Thanksgiving Sunday”
We have a stained glass leaf project to make as gifts for those on our Called to Care list.
We will make glitter pine cone decorations we can hang on our mitten tree & possibly use as decorations on our Angel Tree gifts to Bridge & SPIN House. Everyone loves glitter!
Valentines with “Christian Conversation Hearts”
Sunday, March 11th - “One Great Hour of Sharing”
Kady Bertrand will bring your pen pal letters from the Dominican Republic

CALENDAR OF WORSHIP & SUNDAY SCHOOL 2012
Good news of great joy! Jean Brooks has agreed to coordinate a Sunday School program for the remainder of this church year. Love to talk to kids? Co-teachers are always needed. We always learn from kids when we teach them. The plan is as follows:
All other Sundays: Kids gather in sanctuary for the beginning of the service; after the Children’s Message, they will go to Sunday School.
Craft Sundays: Same plan as for a regular Sunday. Kids in church first, then to Fellowship Hall.
Here is the worship calendar so far, subject to change as the Spirit moves us:

This will be a new experience for us all,
as our children have rarely remained in worship for an entire service. But they can all learn how to behave in
church if you will please let them know ahead of time some simple but important
things:

We would love
your assistance in making this a great experience for us all. Want to help put on the Christmas
Pageant? Or Thanksgiving Sunday? How about the Agape Supper? Or the end-of-the-year picnic? Want to be a Nursery caregiver? There are plenty of ways to get
involved. Please don’t be shy.
